Set-Back Spacer Kit- These low cost, lightweight aluminum engine spacers go between the boat's transom and the engine's mounting bracket to move the center of gravity of the hull further aft. This rebalancing of the boat allows the hull to maintain its present running attitude with less trim-out. Therefore, more of the blades' available thrust is used to push the boat forward rather than hold the bow up. This simple trick is responsible for giving many of the fastest V-bottoms in the country that extra couple of mph. The kit includes the necessary stainless bolts and locking nuts so that installation is just a matter of removing and replacing the stock mounting hardware. You'll be surprised at the difference a few inches can make. For all V4 and V6 engines using the standard BIA mounting bolt pattern.
